Unlike diaphragm, rotary lobe, and PC pumps, the peristaltic design of the Watson Marlow Bredel hose pumps contains no transferring elements that come into contact with the product. It has no seals, ball-checks, diaphragms, glands, immersed rotors, stators or pistons to leak, clog, corrode or substitute.
Bredel hose pumps also eliminate the need for ancillary tools such as dry run safety, seal water flush systems and in-line check valves. A hose change takes only minutes and can be performed in-situ without special tools or expert personnel.
