Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the German industrial pump producer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from personal equity firm Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen within the Allgäu region of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly in the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for meals and beverage and cosmetics applications.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing amenities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a global sales and repair footprint. The firm employs 265 folks and had 2020 revenues of approximately €46.4 million.
“Industrial pumps is a segment that we’ve recognized as a strategic match for Atlas Copco and Wangen Pumpen has leading differentiated technology with a robust aftermarket enterprise,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique enterprise area. “ เกจวัดแก๊สหุงต้ม is a powerful brand and is understood for quality in demanding industrial purposes. This acquisition will create a strong foundation for further progress in new industrial pump segments.”
The acquired business will become a half of the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
The deal is anticipated to be accomplished during the second quarter of 2022 and is topic to regulatory approvals.
